IFC launches consultancy tender for Dili Airport

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a unit of World Bank, has launched a tender for interested firms to deliver legal and technical consultancy services for the planned upgrade of the Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili, Timor Leste. 

The Government of Timor-Leste has partnered with the Asian Development Bank, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the World Bank for the construction, expansion, rehabilitation, and improved operation and maintenance of the Dili Airport in order to improve the service delivery while optimizing the cost. 

IFC will assist the government in finalizing the technical due diligence analysis for the airport; assessing the optimum structure and combination of public procurement and private participation to deliver the project; and in procuring through a competitive tender, a private sector to implement the approved structure under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality.
