IAQ launches major projects pipeline report for Queensland

IAQ has launched the 2020 Major Projects Pipeline Report (Pipeline), in conjunction with Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA).

The Pipeline seeks to provide deep insights into major infrastructure projects within Queensland. Promoting the importance and enablement of a clear and realistic pathway for infrastructure projects, the Pipeline strives to be the leading source of industry guidance for strategic planning, policy positioning, and opportunity identification.

The Major Projects Pipeline Report identifies major engineering project work in Queensland and projects a 5-year forecast of public and private sector projects. Infrastructure Projects are divided into 5 asset classes:

  • Mining and Heavy Industry
  • Roads and Bridges
  • Rails and Harbours
  • Non-Water Utilities and Recreation
  • Water and Sewerage
