I Squared Capital has acquired a controlling interest in the Whistler Pipeline through its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III  from First Infrastructure Capital, Ridgemont Equity Partners, affiliates of West Texas Gas Inc., affiliates of Stonepeak Partners LP and the WhiteWater management team.

I Squared Capital anticipates rising long-term natural gas demand along the US Gulf Coast as a result of the expansion of LNG liquefaction capacity being built in the area and rising demand from Mexico. A unique combination of robust free cash flow, top-notch contracts, and operating rights on vitally important natural gas infrastructure is available through this acquisition.
