The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) and Attica Region have signed an agreement to implement a 13.5 km pedestrian-bicycle route in Attica, Greece.
The EUR24.7 million project will connect the urban coastline of the Attica region and cross six municipalities (Kallithea, P. Faliro, Alimos, Helliniko-Argyroupoli, Glyfada, Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni). The project is part of the Greece 2.0 National Recovery and Resilience Plan and aims to create a modernized public space for walkers and cyclists in Attica and upgrade the quality of the urban space. The project will be tendered by HRADF and is expected to be implemented by the Region of Attica by 2025.
