Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit (HART) in the USA has announced the cancellation of public-private partnership (PPP) procurement for Honolulu Rail Transit Project (HRTP). The project failed to receive a suitable private partner and according to the city all the bids received were overestimated. Now the final four miles connecting East Kapolei to Ala Moana Center will be delivered using other procurement methods.
