A number of players from the infrastructure industry attended a forum held on 11 February for the National Western Center P3 project in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Over 400 representatives of small, medium, and large companies attended the Partnership Opportunity Forum.
The project involves the development of approximately 60 acres of land within the NWC, a planned agricultural research, business and entertainment campus in Denver, Colorado. The so-called "Triangle" site will include a new 10,000-seat arena, a trade show and exhibition hall and structured parking for 2,000 vehicles. The site contains a historic building dating to 1909 that must be redeveloped by the private partner. There is also opportunity to develop between 140 and 245-room hospitality facilities, 200-400 housing units and additional retail and office developments.
The governing organisation of the National Western Center has also held several community meetings for the project since the start of 2019. It plans to publish a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a private development partner in early March.
