The Bombay High Court has suspended the tendering process until April 30, 2021, for the privatization of electricity distribution lines located in union territories of Gujarat namely Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman, and Diu.
The bid for the stake in the discom was part of the government’s strategy to privatize these utilities to improve efficiency.
