HICL Infrastructure Plc. has completed the transaction involving the acquisition of a 50% stake in the B247 Mühlhausen-Bad Langensalza Road PPP concession from Vinci Concessions Deutschland GmbH in Germany. The transaction is valued at EUR12 million (US$12.66 million).
The B247 highway concession is a 22 km road that will link the cities of Mühlhausen and Bad Langensalza in Thuringia state. The works include the design, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of the highway for the concession period of 30 years. The project has reached a financial close in September 2021 and construction is expected to be completed in June 2025.
