Honolulu rail board may not renew the contract of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andrew Robbins. Andrew Robbins has been working as CEO of HART from September 2017 and his three-year contract is about to be expired. The reason might be the failure to complete the lulu Rail Transit line from East Kapolei to Ala Moana Center. This 20-mile line project has been delayed numerous times.
Under his advisement, the board went on with the PPP approach to facilitate the rail transit, which is stuck in the tendering phase now even after two years of planning and processes.
