Halifax Water, a utility providing municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater services to the residents of Halifax and surrounding areas, has published the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) for its new PPP project, Biosolids Management Facility (BPF), in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Halifax Water is considering the procurement of services, equipment and material for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance (DBOM) of a new BPF to handle and process all residual solids and market the end-product. The current biosolids processing facility is approaching its operating capacity, and the new one is planned to be located next to it at 330 Aerotech Drive.
