GS Inima Environment communicated the signing of the QPA (Quota Purchase Agreement) with BRK Ambiental for the acquisition of 82.76% of the shares of the Investment Fund in Multistrategy Participations in Industrial Operations (FIP Operaciones Industriales), indirect controller of the industrial treatment operations of BRK Ambiental, for an amount of EUR 175 Million (US$ 195.9 million).

FIP Operaciones Industriales is a Brazilian company that holds 100% of BRK Operaciones Industriales, which in turn controls three subsidiaries: Aquapolo Ambiental (State of Sao Paulo), BRK Ambiental Jaceaba (State of Minas Gerais) and Triunfo Water Distributor ( State of Rio Grande del Sur). The conclusion of the acquisition process is subject to compliance with the conditions provided in the QPA.

BRK Ambiental is the largest private sanitation company in Brazil, created in October 2016. On the other hand, GS Inima Brasil controls eight sanitation and purification concessions in the States of Sao Paulo and Alagoas.

The acquisition of this stake positions GS Inima Environment through its subsidiary GS Inima Brasil as a leading reference in the industrial water treatment sector in Brazil, forming part of the growth and diversification strategy that the Group is carrying out globally.
