The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced its plans to launch a tender for the Construction, Operation and Maintenance of the Corfu Water Supply Project, through a Public-Private Partnership. The project will have a budget of €146.15 million (US$144.8 million), following the approval of the Interministerial Committee for PPP Projects.

The project will address the water supply problem in the whole island, providing sufficient good quality drinking water. The project has a construction period of 4 years and the tender will be announced in the near future.
