The Ministry of Transportation of the Government of Indonesia has announced that it is ready to offer the development of two ports to private investors using the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) investment scheme.
The two ports to be tendered are Baubau Port in Southeast Sulawesi and Anggrek Port in Gorontalo. The projects are currently in the preparation stage and are valued at up to IDR1 trillion (US$69 million) each.
The Ministry expects to launch tenders for the ports in January 2019.
