Government of Indonesia to develop underwater toll road PPP project in New capital city

The Public Works and Housing (PUPR) of Indonesia is planning to develop an underwater toll road section connecting the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll to the new capital city (IKN), Nusantara in East Kalimantan. 

The road will be constructed using submersible structure technology. The exact location of the submersible crossing project will be announced once the detailed engineering design (DED) is completed.
