Cambodia's Ministry of Public Works and Transport is reportedly reviewing plans to develop a logistics center in Phnom Penh through a public-private partnership (PPP).
The proposed project site is in the north-west of the city, located between National Road No 3 and National Road No 4 and spanning 100 hectares.
The project is intended to enhance connectivity between roads, waterways and railroads, reduce logistics costs in Cambodia, establish efficient logistic routes and improve the national logistics sector. Currently, different transportation methods are not well integrated.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is assisting the Ministry in reviewing the project.
