Goldman Sachs Asset Management to acquire 72% stake in Frøy

Falcon Bidco has entered into an agreement with NTS to acquire NTS’ entire ownership stake in Frøy.

Falcon Bidco, an entity indirectly owned by infrastructure funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), has reached an agreement with NTS, a subsidiary of SalMar, and Frøy. Under this agreement, Falcon Bidco will acquire NTS' entire ownership stake in Frøy, which represents around 72.11% of the shares in the Norwegian aquaculture service and infrastructure company. The acquisition will be carried out through a share sale, with a cash consideration of NOK76.50 million (US$6.89 million) per share. The same consideration will also be offered in the mandatory offer. This transaction values the total shares in Frøy at approximately NOK6.6 billion (US$594.8 million).
