Goldman Sachs Asset Management-owned Falcon Bidco has closed the acquisition of a 72.11% stake in Frøy for NOK6.6 billion (US$628.6 million).
Falcon Bidco, a company indirectly wholly owned by infrastructure funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, along with NTS AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of SalMar ASA and Frøy ASA, has entered into an agreement to acquire NTS' entire ownership stake in Frøy. This stake represents approximately 72.11% of the shares in Frøy.
DNB Markets, a division of DNB Bank ASA, is providing financial advisory services, while Advokatfirmaet BAHR AS is offering legal advisory services to NTS and the Company. On the other hand, Goldman Sachs International, Nordea Corporate Finance, and RBC Capital Markets are acting as financial advisors. Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS and Linklaters LLP are serving as legal advisors, and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP is providing expertise in competition and FDI law to the Offeror.
