Glasfaser Nordwest has announced the construction of a new fiber optic network in the Horneburg region of Germany.
The project will provide fiber to the premises of more than 3,200 commercial and residential locations. The construction will take place in two stages: the construction of the distribution network and the construction of house connections. The first step in the project will be to expand the distribution network, namely the creation of a complex underground infrastructure, which consists of many main cables and nodes. Also, during construction, a fiber optic cable will be laid in front of each house. As soon as the infrastructure is developed, the connection of the house to the network will follow. The fiber optic cable is activated immediately.
Marketing within the project is carried out through marketing partners EWE, Telekom and Stadtwerke Buxtehude.
