The Federal Republic of Germany is planning to hold industry day to hold procurement procedure for the B 247 road concession. The meeting will be held on June 12, 2019. Information regarding the concession of B 247 will be given in this meeting. All the interested participants are requested to register for the event in advance. Registration can be done by emailing to veranstaltungen@deges.de till May 31, 2019.
The concession includes planning, partial financing, construction, maintenance and operation of 24.4 km long section of the main road
B 247 between Mühlhausen and Bad Langensalza. This section of B 247 road passes through the state of Bavaria in Germany. The scope of work involves the new construction of two- and four-lane road bypasses Mühlhausen, Höngeda, Großengottern / Schönstedt
as well as the planned expansion of the junction B 247 / L 1031 near Bad Langensalza. The concession period of the project in 30 years.
The government is expecting to award the concession contract by the third quarter of 2019.
