On 12 July 2012, the Communauté de communes du pays de Pévèle signed a PPP contract with Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring for the financing, design, construction, and maintenance of the future aquatic center in Genech.
The project represents an investment of € 15 million.
Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring has partnered with Adim North Picardy, a subsidiary of Vinci Construction France and Vinci Facilities to carry this operation.
The inauguration of the future aquatic center is expected in 2014.
The project:
The future aquatic center will fully meet the expectations of 38,000 people in 19 towns that make up the Communauté de communes du pays de Pévèle. These towns spread over a territory predominantly rural.
The aquatic center will occupy a two-hectare site near Genech schools (Institute Genech, 2000 students and Charlotte Perriand school, 900 students).Source: Unifergie
