GE (General Electric) Healthcare has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support and advise the development of the project. The MoU covered five Diagnostic Centres of Excellence, with the Korle-Bu centre to be developed first, as well as other health infrastructure initiatives
The International Finance Corporation has been appointed as lead arranger for the project and intends to directly provide a mix of senior and subordinated loans of up to €125-million, in addition to mobilising up to €275-million of debt from other institutions.
