The National Economic Prosecutor's Office in Chile approved the sale by Gasco and Abastible of 100% of the ownership of the Gasmar liquefied gas terminal (LPG) to the US firm Arroyo Energy. Abastible is controlled by Copec. The transaction is valued at US$422 million.
Located in Quintero, Gasmar LPG terminal carries out the import, storage, and backup of two-thirds of the liquefied gas that enters Chile each year.
