Gammon Infra bags Vijayawada-Gundugolanu (NH-5) DBFOT

Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd has received the letter of award from NHAI for six laning of the Vijayawada - Gundugolanu section of NH 5 (103.59 km) in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The project is on BOT (Toll) mode on DBFOT (design, build, finance, operate and transfer) basis.
The project cost as estimated by NHAI is Rs.1684 crores ($332 million). The company will pay a premium of Rs.57.57 crores ($11 million) per annum (compounded every year by 5%) during the concession period.
The concession period of the project is 30 years, including a construction period of 2.5 years.
