Edmond de Rothschild has announced the close of the Infrastructure Debt Generation (BRIDGE) V fund with UK local government pension schemes (LGPS) central backing.
Other investors include pension funds and insurance companies based in the UK, Europe and Asia. In 2022, the BRIDGE V fund completed its closing. The amount raised is twice as much as the EUR 1.25 billion (US$1.32 billion) that the series BRIDGE IV's last fund, which concluded in 2020, was able to achieve. BRIDGE-VI is the next fund in the series.
BRIDGE V is classified as an Article 8 fund of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and invests across all infrastructure sectors in both senior-secured and higher-yielding debt. The platform has invested predominantly in Europe with some select exposure to non-European OECD countries.
