Fundraising completed for European Special Opportunities Fund

RoundShield Partners LLP managed fourth European Special Opportunities Fund has announced the completion of fundraising. The Fund was more than two times oversubscribed and closed at its hard cap of GBP 670 million (US$ 790.92 million). The successful fundraise followed the closing of two special purpose vehicles with approximately EUR 250 million (US$ 270.78 million) of capital in the second half of 2019.

The fund was supported by commitments of existing institutional investors from the United States, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and Europe. RoundShield, a significant Sidley client, is an independent investment firm focused on European asset-backed special opportunities, including real estate, infrastructure, other hard assets, and financial assets
