The French Government has launched its tender for the development, design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of a Funiflaine cable car project that connects the Arve Valley and the Flaine station under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
The 5.5-km project will serve other related facilities: Magland-Bellegarde (downstream), Pierre Carrée (intermediate) and Flaine (upstream). It will be used as a logistics platform both upstream and downstream and delivery of goods, garbage, baggage.

The downstream station will include car parks, a pole of exchanges bus/cars/shuttles as well as the associated accesses. The concession also includes the operation of a motorized link between the Magland railway station (shuttles or other) and the downstream station.
