Four bids received for Chania schools PPP project in Crete

Four interested companies have submitted the expression of interest (EOI) for the Chania schools project on the island of Crete in Greece. 

In February 2019, the Municipality of Chania has extended the deadline for submission of EOI for the design, financing, construction, technical management and operation of eight schools in the municipality under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. 

The authority has modified the works tendered to include the study, financing, reconstruction, technical management, operation and technological upgrade of the "Peaceful and Friendship Park of the Municipality of Chania". 

The four interested firms for the project are:

  • AKTOR CONCESSIONS SOCIETE ANONYME (AKTOR CONCESSIONS SA)
  • MYTILINEOS SOCIETE ANONYME - GROUP OF COMPANIES
  • J & P - AVAX SOCIETE ANONYME - ERGOLIPTIC - TOURISM - COMMERCIAL - INDUSTRIAL - CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND MACHINERY (J & P - AVAX SA)
  • ΑΤ.Ε.Σ.Ε. TECHNICAL COMMERCIAL CONSULTING COMMERCIAL SHIPPING COMPANY PRIVATE SAFETY SERVICE ("ATES SA")

The deadline for the submission of documents expired on February 20, 2019.
