Four consortiums are working on the first offer for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the Bourg-Léopold prison PPP project in Belgium. The contracting authority of the development is Régie des Bâtiments. The list of teams includes the following companies:
The teams have been selected and invited to submit an offer, presenting a concrete project by the end of November 2021. The prison will be built on a former military site, located in the Reigersvliet district in Bourg-Léopold. The land has an area of around 8 hectares and was purchased by the Régie des Bâtiments from La Défense.
