Foresight Renewable Energy Income Fund (FREIF) is a new investment fund launched by Foresight Group LLP that seeks to provide strong demand for renewable energy investment.

The Guernsey-based investment fund focusing on sustainable infrastructure assets under management rose 53% to GBP9.20 billion (US$11.20 billion) from GBP6.01 billion (US$7.32 billion) on September 30, 2022.

Growth was especially driven by the acquisition of Australia-based Infrastructure Capital Group, which added around GPB3 billion (US$3.65 billion) in assets under management. It is now being expected to update 20% to 25% assets under management growth target to a rolling three-year average to better reflect the variable nature of acquisition activity and large institutional fundraises.
