IRB Infrastructure has announced they have bagged the
first mega road project tendered in India under the Public private partnership (PPP) model. The highway project involves six-laing of the highway from km 6.4000 to km 108.700 (Ahmedabad-Vadodara section of National Highway (NH)-8) and improvement of the expressway from km 0.000 to km 93.302 (the existing Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expessway in Gujarat) under Phase V of the National Highway Development Programme on design, build, finance, operate, transfer (DBFOT) basis

Shortlisted bidders have been announced for the
second mega road project, the
Kishangarh-Udaipur-Ahmedabad road project. This road project is spread over NH -79 A, NH-79 , NH-76 and NH-8 and covers parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Madhya Pradesh: Four laning of Lakhnadon-Jabalpur-Katni- Reva Section of NH-7.7. Maharashtra: Four laning of 390-km Indapur-Goa/Maharashtra border section of NH-17.8. Gujarat: Four laning of 425-km Ahmedabad-Bamanbore- Samakhiali and Bamanbore- Rajkot-Gondal section of NH- 8A & B.9. Gujarat: Six/four laning of 445-km Bhavnagar-Pipavav- Porbandar-Dwarka section of NH-8E.
