Golding Capital Partners has held the first closing of its infrastructure fund of funds, Golding Infrastructure 2022, the fifth generation of the firm’s infrastructure strategy with EUR 360 million (USD 391 million).
This EUR 360 million (USD 391 million) closing demonstrates solid investor confidence in the fund's strategy, even with 26% of commitments from new investors. Five investments made already in 2023 highlight the fund's proactive approach, with 14% of capital already called up. While the fund opens the door to secondary market transactions and co-investments, its core focus remains on established infrastructure markets in Europe and North America. With a minimum commitment of EUR 5 million (USD 5.4 million), a 15-year lifespan, and a target net IRR of 8-9%, the fund targets a specific investor category seeking long-term, stable returns.
