Niam Infra Fund has completed first external close with raising more than SEK500 million (US$53.88 million) in commitments from several Swedish investors. The fund will target small to medium-sized investments with a focus on asset aggregation and risk reduction in primarily Nordic sustainable infrastructure.
Niam Infrastructure was launched in 2021. In August, Niam Infrastructure made its first investment through its fund in Solarwork, a Swedish solar company. Over the next years, the fund aims to invest SEK500 million (US$53.88 million) together with Solarwork to deliver affordable and trouble-free green electricity through Solarwork’s fully financed Solar-as-a-Service offering.
