The City Council of Espoo, located in the south of Finland, has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the tender of a public-private partnership (PPP) school project. The government will be partnering with a private company to develop, finance, design, build and maintain up to five schools and kindergarten centres in the city.
The proposed projects are:
Perkka school and Perkäka kindergarten and residential park
Nauriskatalo School and Nauriskoski / Nöykkiönniity kindergarten
Kilo school and kindergarten
Various plans are also considered for the possible replacement of the existing North Tapiola school and Sepo school property in a new unified North Tapiola school.
The council plans to launch the tender on 11 December 2018.
