The UK Government and Bristol City Council have reached financial close on a deal to develop a 26-storey residential tower with affordable housing.
The Castle Park View housing project will be developed on a 0.65 ha brownfield site in Bristol, UK. It will consist of 300 one and two-bedroom private rented sector homes apartments and 75 affordable homes, comprising one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
The project is signed with Homes England, Bristol City Council, M&G Real Estate and Yarlington Housing Group under public-private partnership (P3) scheme. M&G Real Estate will own and manage 300 one and two-bedroom private rented sector homes apartments while Yarlington Housing Group will take ownership and operational oversight of the remaining 75 housing units.
The construction of the project is set to commence in the coming days with the Bouygues UK and its development arm Linkcity. Completion on the tower designed by architects Chapman Taylor is scheduled for 2022.
