Macquarie Capital and S&B Engineers and Constructors (S&B) has reached financial close with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on the first package of the Major Bridge P3 Project in Pennsylvania, USA.

The first package includes the design, build, financing, and maintenance of six bridges. These are essential pieces of Pennsylvania’s intra – and interstate transportation system:

1. I-81 Susquehanna
2. I-80 Nescopeck Creek
3. I-78 Lenhartsville
4. I-80 Lehigh River
5. I-80 Canoe Creek
6. I-80 North Fork

The project is expected to begin in September 2023 and to be completed between September 2027 to June 2028.
