Miami-Dade county has reached a financial close for a new courthouse in downtown Miami.
The Project is being implemented by Plenary Group with Tutor Perini Corporation as design-build contractor, HOK as an architect and services being provided by Johnson Controls, Inc.
Plenary has submitted plans to the Federal Aviation Administration for a courthouse building height of 435 feet above ground, or 443 feet above sea level. The new building will be 23 story tall.
According to the documents sent to the FAA, the start of the construction is scheduled for May 2020. The building is expected to be completed on January 2024.
