Financial close for Indonesian toll road

A syndicated loan agreement or an Investment Credit facility has been signed by PT Pemalang Batang Tol Road (PBTR) as the Pemalang-Batang Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) on August 27 2018 in Indonesia.

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) will act as the lead bank providing facilities amounting to Rp2.03 trillion (US$134,36 million). 

Bringing the total facilities obtained by PBTR to Rp5.25 trillion (US$352,69 million), the credit is a continuation of the Phase I Syndicated Credit signed on May 24, 2017. The total facility is used for the investment needs of PBTR toll road construction up to 70%.

Part of the Trans Java The 39.2 km Pemalang Batang toll road is one of the national strategic projects (PSN). In the near future PBTR will operate the Sewaka-Gandulan toll road for 6 km in advance, while the operation of the entire segment is targeted to be completed in November 2018.
