Financial Close announced for Port of La Nouvelle PPP Project

The Region of Occitania and Nou Vela consortium have announced financial close for Port La Nouvelle in France.

The public partners, Region of Occitania and Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts), and a private shareholder group Nou Vela form a SEMOP (a single-purpose public-private partnership) with 49% and 51%, respectively. Nou Vela consortium is made up of DEME Concessions, Euroports, EPICO (European Projects Investment Company) and QAIR.

The concession achieved financial close with financing from: KBC Bank NV, KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH, MEAG, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, and the Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc-Roussillon. The key advisors of the project were 8Advisory (financial consultant), Racine Avocats (legal advisor), A&O (legal advisor), Atkins Global (technical consultant), EGIS (technical consultant), DsG (commercial consultant), DNV (floating wind turbine technical and commercial consultant), KPMG (tax and accounting) and H3P (financial modeling consultant).
