Plenary has achieved financial close on the AU$ 82 million (US$ 51 million) La Trobe University Health Clinic in Victoria, Australia.
This milestone comes after Plenary was named La Trobe University’s preferred master development partner in 2022, tasked with transforming the 235-hectare Bundoora campus into a dynamic urban precinct featuring sports, research, and innovation facilities, along with education, commercial, retail, and residential developments. Once completed in mid-2026, the Health Clinic will support the training of 400 more allied health professionals and psychologists annually. It will offer students clinical placements and practical experience, equipping them with the confidence and skills needed to join the healthcare workforce. The clinic will also provide a broad range of allied health services, including orthoptics, speech pathology, podiatry, psychology, dietetics and nutrition, physiotherapy, audiology and occupational therapy.
The clinic is part of La Trobe’s AU$ 170 million (US$ 106.8 million) investment in health innovation, which will deliver teaching, research and infrastructure to boost Australia’s healthcare workforce by an extra 4,000 professionals each year in areas of need.
