The Cambao-Manizales toll road PPP project in Colombia has reached a financial close of US$114 million.
The financing is broken down into three tranches: the first tranche values US$41.2 million from Bancolombia, US$29 million tranche in IPC (Consumer Price Index), and the Senior Debt Fund for Infrastructure in Colombia CAF-AM Ashmore I with a UVR (Real Value Unit) tranche for USD$43.8 million. The loan will be used to finance the construction works for the Ibagué-Honda, Cambao-Manizales corridor.
The toll road PPP project consists of a 255.8 km of extension and connects Cundinamarca, Tolima and Caldas departments. The road is part of the 4G concession program and it was awarded in 2015.
