Financial close achieved for Broadway Subway PPP in Vancouver

Broadway Subway Project Corporation formed by ACCIONA and Ghella has achieved financial close for Broadway Subway in Vancouver. The CAD2.8 billion (US$2.146 billion) project is an extension of the Millennium Line and a key link in Metro Vancouver’s transportation system. The Broadway Subway project is a key part of the rapid transit program in Metro Vancouver’s Mayors’ Council 10-Year Vision.

The construction works are expected to start by end of 2020 and the subway extension is expected to open by 2025.
