The deadline to submit best and final offers in the tender for the development of Krakow fast tram public-private partnership (PPP) project phase IV has been moved to the end of July.
Earlier this year the contracting authority the Management Board of Municipal Infrastructure and Transport of Krakow (ZIKiT) has shortlisted three teams to submit their final offers:
The fast train stage IV project involves the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a 4.5km fast tram line between Czyżyny and Mistrzejowice, in the city of Krakow, Poland. The line will have nine pairs of stops and six short stops. The trams will run at 24 km/h. The estimated length of the PPP contract is 24 years which includes approx. 1.5 years for design, approx. 2 years for construction of the facility and 20 years of maintenance.
