Arcus Infrastructure Partners (Arcus) has announced the final closing of its third fund, Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 SCSp (AEIF3) at EUR 1.61 billion (US$ 1.75 billion), exceeding its target size of EUR 1.5 billion (US$ 1.6 billion).
AEIF3 has invested in four European mid-market infrastructure assets: Workdry in the UK and Netherlands, Officium in Germany, Portus across Luxembourg, Hamburg, and Munich, and Coolworld across Europe. These investments, totaling approximately EUR 680 million (US$ 739 million), represent about 40% of committed capital and have attracted funding from prominent institutional investors globally, including long-standing partners of Arcus.
AEIF3's inaugural investment was in September 2022, acquiring Workdry International Ltd. Subsequent investments include SDC SpaceNet DataCenter, Officium Holding GmbH, EDH, IPHH, and Coolworld Investment B.V. Arcus manages 16 assets valued at over EUR 7.6 billion (US$ 8.2 billion), with previous funds AEIF2 and AEIF1 managing eight and six infrastructure assets, respectively. Campbell Lutyens, Clifford Chance, and PwC played key roles in the fundraising process.
