PAI Partners announced the successful final close of its latest Flagship Fund, PAI Partners VIII Fund.
Exceeding its fundraising target, Fund VIII has secured a total of EUR7.1 billion (USD7.7 Billion) in capital commitments. This achievement underscores the robust investor confidence in PAI's strategy, which focuses on transforming businesses into high-performing strategic assets in the Real Economy across Europe and North America. Despite a challenging fundraising landscape, the Fund is approximately 40% larger than its predecessor (PAI Europe VII), which closed at EUR5.1 billion (USD5.5 Billion) in 2018. Leading public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, and family offices have strongly supported Fund VIII, with increased commitments from all regions. As of now, the fund has deployed around 35% of its total capital through seven investments, including ECG/Vacanceselect, NovaTaste, the Looping Group, ECF Group, Azets Group, Infra Group, and Alphia, Inc.
