Ares Management Corporation announced the final closing of Ares Pathfinder Fund II.
The Fund received overwhelming demand and reached its maximum limit, surpassing the initial target of US$5 billion. It ended up being approximately 80% larger than its predecessor fund, which had commitments totaling US$3.7 billion. Remarkably, the Fund completed its final closing just seven months after its initial closing in March 2023. Additionally, the Pathfinder family of funds adheres to a specific structure with a distinct social impact purpose. Ares and Pathfinder's portfolio managers have committed to donating at least 5-10% of the carried interest profits from these funds to global health and educational charities.
