Ardian has announced that it has achieved the final closing for its Ardian Americas Infrastructure Fund V (AAIF V). The fund is closed at US$2.1 billion exceeding its hard cap of US$2.0 billion.
The fund mainly intends to invest in infrastructure assets in the telecommunications, transportation, and energy transition sectors across the US and other OECD countries.
Over 60 investors participated in the fundraising effort from 17 nations in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. These investors included significant pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and Fund of Funds, as well as high-net-worth individuals.
