Ferrovial wins contract for expansion of I-95 highway in North Carolina

Ferrovial has announced that its US construction subsidiary, Webber, has won a US$282.9 million contract for the expansion of the I-95 highway in North Carolina, USA.

Under the contract, Webber will be responsible for the widening of 8 miles section of I-95, expanding road capacity to eight lanes, from the current four, replacing bridges and overpasses and upgrading drains. 

The project will increase traffic safety, lessen congestion and offer more dependable transit times when it is finished in late 2026.
