Ferrovial to acquire 96% of Carlyle's stake in New Terminal One

Ferrovia and Carlyle have reached an agreement to negotiate the transfer to Ferrovial of the 96% stake held by Carlyle in New Terminal One consortium.

The consortium was appointed to design, build and operate the new Terminal 1 at International Airport JFK in New York, USA. Carlyle holds a 51% stake in New Terminal One. With the transaction, Ferrovial will acquire 96% of Carlyle's stake.

The closing of the deal would be subject to the usual conditions for the transaction, including the approval of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
