FEP to structure a model drainage system project in Porto Alegre

The City of Porto Alegre in Brazil has signed a contract with the Federal Fund for Structuring Projects - FEP to carry out the studies to structure the municipal drainage system concession project. The objective of the project is to establish a private partnership model to be replicated in the country, enabling the provision of public services by making investments with greater speed and quality, paying attention to low tariffs.

BRL 4.8 million (US$ 0.91 million) will be invested through the Federal Fund for Structuring Projects - FEP, which will serve 11 hydrographic basins in the municipality, benefiting around 1.13 million inhabitants.
