The Government of Timor-Leste has launched a tender notice seeking technical consultants to provide project preparation studies for the Public Transport project. Asian Development Bank (ADB) is assisting the government by utilizing the transaction technical assistance facility (F-TRTA), Southeast Asia Transport Project Preparatory Facility. The proposed transportation network will provide a public transport system.

The consultancy contract is valued at US$645,000. The selected technical assistant will be responsible for the following tasks :

1. Review of the demand, engineering, architectural, and cost studies and routing and phasing options included in the Public Transport Master Plan;
2. Financial sustainability and viability analysis and management assessments to inform investment decisions and ensure ongoing sustainability and operation of the TLPTP facilities;
3. Strategic Procurement Planning;
4. Gender and social development assessments.
